Help with vaultmp

Hey, me and my friend and trying to play together, but when I set up the server, it says "default" in the location, and when I click join server it stays on the loading screen (with the hints). I did everythin I was supposed to do (extracted client and server). Am I supposed to do something else? thanks! :)

Fallout new vegas, and yes, I went into the .ini file and changed it to "newvegas"

You can experiment with the inittime setting in vaultmp.ini (set it to a higher value like 10000 or 12000) for the loading screen thing.

I am having this same problem where i am getting an error on fallout NV, when I am beginning to join my mates server.
