i got the server thing to work and went on your test server and right besides the spawn i sort of killed easy pete and took his stuff :'(

Easy Pete is not an important character at all. The ONLY thing he does (if your explosives skill is high enough)
is giving you dynamite to use against the Powder Gangers during that Goodsprings Fight.

Basically, he's pretty useless. 8)

It doesn't matter because the multiplayer isn't properly sync'd. It's like Singleplayer except you can see another guy standing there.

This other guy is actually synced like shown in the YouTube videos, the current released version is just unstable. Next update coming this weekend ;)
