I want to migrate from the PipBoy view to a custom GUI interface. This solves a lot of problems there currently are and enables implementation of server-side controls of item equipment, functions and effects and much more.

I'm no good at designing UIs, so it would be nice if somebody else could design the window. I guess the best solution is to use a window with multiple tabs for the different information sections. roby65 will give feedback on what is possible.

I'm here, but i can join IRC only for 1-2 minutes, then my ADSL drops the connection. Yes, it's funny.

You don't need to create the graphic, you should create a wireframe with everything should be on this GUI window.

Tell me if you have questions!

That is shit.

But would it not be cool if it's going to be the pipboy (graphical). Just one window with a options to go to: inventory, stats, chat, Data and exit(to close the game). But you can drag everything out of that one window(lets call it the pip window) so like if you want to keep the chat when you close the pip window you can no window is forced to you at all (so if you want no windows at all you hate the chat) it will give a lot of options like you can also keep a window open to see your quests information or doing your inventory without opening the pip window all the time.

The pipboy 4500 VaultMP edition. :P

Maybe you can also add dummy data? So roby knows how to put the lists etc.

We also need a new interface for the item exchange (container) window

The design seems a bit too clean for a postapocalyptical device. Dont use full satisfied colors for display Data. I also think you need a better data area design. If you got submenues under the mainmenues, you got not enough space to place all the things you need. I also would decrease the font size and give it a bit more letterspace. Its really too much. Dont border the Datafields, take the complete screen for the datafield. Gave the complete design a lite convexis. So it matches more the form from the screen. Only an advise, if i can help ya. Hit me. :)
