I have no idea what is causing this. I'm trying to join the vaultmp default server. I get through the load screen, and where I'd normally start playing that error message pops up, crashing the game. I'm not heavily into this modding, so level with me, please. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a known bug (or rather, lack of implementation) of the current version. The issue is that the client needs to create an object in the cell 000010D7, but it doesn't know any "anchor" object in that same cell it can use to spawn it there. This will be fixed in the next version. For now, nothing can be done about it (other than not creating new objects in cells which have no static objects the client is aware of). I do restart the default server periodically so objects created in those cells go away.

Current "anchors" the client knows are static doors, containers and terminals. If there is such an object in a cell, it is safe to spawn objects there.

I have this issue on top of my todo list, so I'll fix it as soon as I have time again

Jezz, I wasn't expecting a reply this week let alone in less then an hour! Thank you for the info, and while I have you are there any other servers you could forward or recommend me to with a bit more population?

Hmm, I don't think there are any. vaultmp is still too unstable at the moment, so nobody's hosting.

Damn. Thank you anyway though.

This i believe is the same fix that will work if on windows 7/vista. This works for the dx error and i think the same here too, Try:

Start=Right click computer=Properties then in the upper left click "Advanced System Settings" Afterwards, Click the "advanced" tab.
Once you do this, Under the "performance", click "settings" then Go to "data execution" and add fallout 3.exe, launcer exe, and The vault mp exe's.

Should work.
