I would like to see improved graphics, along with dual-wielding and better weapon customization and variation. And maybe some vehicles ;)

^ That. Although I'd also really love to see a more dynamic world. I guess people react differently to you, but besides Megaton, there aren't that many "world-changing" events or even any random/dynamic world events besides the main questline.

I'd like to see improved graphics, some vehicles, a dynamic weather system (rain, clouds, windy, etc)
And all of the things posted above.

Yeah, it's more dynamic than most games but not by much. It'd be cool if they done something that grouped NPC's and had an AI for the whole group. Making locations dynamic would be amazing. Example: Everyone in Megaton is murdered, so some Raiders come in and setup camp. Later, some Super Mutants attack but only thin out the Raiders. With the Raiders weakened, some Wastelanders come in and easily retake Megaton :)

This may be implemented as a vaultmp script, one day...

I'd like to see alot more dynamics going on, different things happening on each playthrough ya know?
I'd like to see more quests involving factions, a good example would be BoS and Enclave in Fallout New Vegas, I mean i'm pro BoS all the way so whenever I play fallout I do quests for them but this time round it seemed kind of useless.. I wanted to make BoS Powerful again, see patrols out and around their base and invading nearby NCR camps and such, but nothing.. I had to take helios back myself :\

That'd be awesome. It just sucks that most of the game is highly stable until a major plot point changes something. It'd be terribly complex but a "World AI" engine/program would rock. By that I mean part of the game engine keeps track of/triggers pseudo-random events that cascade into groups taking over towns, slaughtering each other, teaming up (NCR & BoS vs. Super Mutant horde FTW), etc. With the GameBryo engine as it is, you'd probably need to have some sort of Open Cities mod and allow everything to be in the one worldspace (Skyrim please???).

If anyone plays MMOs, the ideal that Guild Wars 2 is aiming for with their dynamic events system is a great starting point, haha.

* Improved graphics, physics, HUD, atmosphere, sounds and all. Firstly our character should talk, and talking cameras should be dynamic like Mass Effect 2.
* I want an extremely-impressive scenario, better than other Fallout series.
* Massive and realistic combats on the wastes!
* I think Fallout will be best without vehicles, but that's my opinion.

It actually wouldn't be too hard, and I've always wanted something nice to code an AI for :)
I'd probably have to write a pseudo-AI for each NPC in a given group, so the script can have more control over them. Vaultmp should have features to disable the default AI or atleast some parts of it, but this will be a long time from now. I could make it so that individual players could join a group and help change the outcome, so it'd be interactive and dynamic. Each group could have priorities, and could be made aware of both locations and events and (atleast somewhat) of their stragetic value. Multiple groups could form a larger one, and each soldier in the group could have it's own priority. The main concept is to bring the AI alive.

Who need the AI having humans players? Vaultmp is the way to make this real, with us making the world.

@CTCCoco: The players will be able to interact with the AI. There's not enough players to fill all the ranks of every faction or all the raiders, so without AI the world will be very static. If there was enough players, however, they would most likely cause much chaos without organization. Without NPCs, it would be very lonely. The AI will be a lot more coordinated than normal players, allowing major changes to take place, and some form of order and stability to exist. Some players might not want to be in any faction. This is only my design for a dynamic multiplayer fallout world, though.

Yeah, the world would suck without NPCs, especially one in the Fallout engine, there's just not enough "support" for all player characters. Houstin, it'd be amazing if you could write something like that, but I'm sure it'd take a lot more time than it's worth, at least for New Vegas, haha. I was even thinking larger scale than single groups interacting in the wasteland. The ideal form would be something that gave groups the ability to band together, forming larger and larger groups made up of various sub-groups, and (this is all decided by regulated "chance") they could negotiate, break out into war, build new bases around the map, etc. I doubt there's any reasonable way something like that could fit within the current GameBryo engine, but it'd be awesome to see :D

I haven't read every single post in this thread but I agree with the OP. Improved graphics (I'm 100% sure they will have that), dual wielding weapons, a better weapon customization system, weather system, vehicles (there was a vehicle in one of the original Fallouts, can't remember which one though, you could run it from your laser pistol ammo or something). Less of the same voices (really got to me when all elderly people on it sounded the same, even though they have an epic voice). It MUST start off in a Vault, just like F3 but maybe put more detail into the vault and make it less boring and more appealing.
