Fallout 3 Test Server (Game Crashes after few seconds)

Well, when i join the FO3 Server called ''The Wasteland'' Then i walk around for a bit then i get disconnected.... But still good job Recycler! I can't wait till this get its Official release! But hope u will make more players spots on the server :P But good job so far!

Could you give me a tip how to stop the crash? I have put a copy of Vaultmp.exe and Vaultmp.Dll into the Fallout3.exe folder and i have put a copy of the Default save file into Saves:) Please reply as soon as possible.

Check if you have the correct Fallout 3 version installed. If you still experience crashes, tell me when they happen and if you were alone on the server (when another player joins, you can see him for a second near you until he will be set to his own position).

I have 1.7, newest version i believe..... And no there were no players on when i joined

same situation - i and my friend tried to enter at the same time but we didn't see each other. we both have 1.7.

Well, I'll try to find the reason for that when I'm back home (currently at work). Can you supply me with the exact size of your Fallout3.exe (in bytes) so I can make sure it's not a version problem ;) Thanks

After disabling Windows Live all crushes have dissapeared forever! Recycler, Thank u very much for advice! Make this on top - to make other players not to ask again

Disable Windows Live? Like Uninstall it completely? Or is there a way to just turn it off?

Theres a modification that does it, allows you to disable / enable at any time.

Is that so? I Think There should be a topic to see how many people it works for to stop the crashing.
