Ive Seen Some People Encounter Problems With The Way They Have It Set-up, So I Thought Id Make My Own TuT.

This Is A Complete Guide On How-To Setup A Fallout 3 + New Vegas Dedicated Server To Play With Friends!

[size=18pt]STEP 2: Extracting Software[/size]
Open The Zip File
* You Should See These Files:

Make A Folder On Your Desktop, And Extract These Files Into it.

[size=18pt]STEP 3: Move The Files![/size]
Copy And Paste vaultmpd.exe + vaultmp.dll To Your Fallout 3 OR New Vegas Folder, Along With NVSE OR FOSE.

[size=18pt]STEP 4: Setting Up The Server![/size]
Go Back To The Folder You Extracted The Files In.
vaultserver ---> windows ----> Make A Shortcut Of "vaultserverd.exe" to dekstop.

* Right-Click The Shortcut, Properties.

[size=18pt]STEP 5: Editing The Properties![/size]
Your Properties Should Look Like This, "C:\Users\[NAME]\Desktop\[YOUR FOLDER]\vaultserver\windows\vaultserverd.exe".
Now, Hit The Spacebar And Put, "-a [YOUR IP] -q -nv -c 5" [NO QUOTES]

Delete the '[YOUR IP]' And Place Your IP.
-q = Query
-nv = New Vegas (If You Wanna Have A Fallout 3 Server, Get Rid Of the -nv)
-c = player max (Mine Is 5 :P)

Run Vaultmaster.exe In the vaultmaster folder.

Ok, I got a request to make this step so here it is.
* In your internet browser, goto 192.168.1.1
Enter your routers username and password. Defaults are:
Username: admin
Passowrd: admin
* Goto Portfarwarding/Gaming and applications,

Portforward 1660 and 1770 to your IPv4 (found in CMD if you type ipconfig, Starts with 192.168)

It's a general consensus among internet-goers, really.

I do wonder, though; how is it a habit? I take it English isn't your primary language?

I guess I can't make servers because I have wifi or my computer hates me....No one is gonna make a server for New vegas since I think the test server are down...? ;)

I've read plenty of books, and none of them have every single word in a paragraph capitalized. There's a difference between pointing out someone's lack of knowledge regarding the English language, and trying to insult someone by implying that they don't read books.

Topic pruned of all previous flame. Some people have valid points to make and I have left those. I would suggest you clean up the topic a bit. Capatalizing Every Word isnt nessecary at all. Im not going to force you to change that but If your first language is infact English, the capatalization and spelling mistakes are really bad habits and put you in a bad light.

And edit it, revision 134 is quite old, and see if something changed on 147
