I'm tired of the limited functions of SMF so I consider a software change the best. Please suggest which board software you think is the best and why. I personally know of phpBB (free) and vBulletin (which is great, but it costs).
Note that there should be a way to transfer forum posts and such to the new software.

Personally, if we're going to use a free one, I'll vote for phpBB, there's a reason it's the most used free forum software. If donations or otherwise can support buying the software, the obvious choice for me is vBulliten.
I vote for phpBB enough reasons. :)
