Thoughts? I'll be adding and changing things while I work it out. ~[[User:Farlo|Farlo]][[File:User Farlo Triad.png|19px|link=User:Farlo]]<small>[[User talk:Farlo|Talk]]</small> 03:47, 1 October 2011 (CEST)
:I guess we should have extended rules for the language forums. Such as the moderators have to be active in those forums. They should report problems they can't solve themselves to the overall forum moderators. We will also need rules for the coding boards (i.e. releases have to include the full source code), I will make a section about that soon. ~[[User:Recycler|Recycler]][[File:User Farlo Triad.png|19px|link=User:Recycler]]<small>[[User talk:Recycler|Talk]]</small> 16:27, 1 October 2011 (GMT+2)
::You stole my signature! haha. Are you signing with <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki> or doing it manually?
::I was going to add something about those, but I don't know what powers all the different levels have, but I can make something basic right now. ~[[User:Farlo|Farlo]][[File:User Farlo Triad.png|19px|link=User:Farlo]]<small>[[User talk:Farlo|Talk]]</small> 19:48, 1 October 2011 (CEST)
:::I just copy pasted your signature :) Don't have any experience with the wikimedia tags. ~Recycler
::::Go into your preferences and you can change what's shown as your signature. What you see as my signature is exactly what you type into the box there (except with your name). If you want a different image, just create the link in your signature and next time you sign, you'll get a nice red link, which you can then click to upload whatever you want. ~[[User:Farlo|Farlo]][[File:User Farlo Triad.png|19px|link=User:Farlo]]<small>[[User talk:Farlo|Talk]]</small> 21:38, 4 October 2011 (CEST)
:::::OK, thanks ;) ~[[User:Recycler|Recycler]] [[Image:Favicon_vaultmp.png|16px|link=]] 21:24, 4 October 2011 (CEST)
Eh, kinda new to this wiki talk stuff so excuse my fail knowledge on knowing how to chat on here. Anyway,I definitely agree with the fact that forum moderators should report problems they cant fully solve themselves to the others, but perhaps it should still be reported anyway? Have some sort of special board or something for that so that a FAQ can be made up and developed. As for the coding boards, I do disagree on releases having to include full source code. I understand part of the reason for that is so that there is nothing malicious or anything like that, but there are those special cases where someone wants to release something but it's still under development and you don't wanna release it yet so people can't copy your work. However, vault-tec is an opensource project so it does make sense again. But that's just my opinion. Also, I know I'm getting ahead of things here, but what about server advertising? We need some rules for what can be posted, can people post back in server ads, limit on server ads per month, and so on. [[User:Frankpetrov|Frankpetrov]] 9:50, 5 October 2011 (GMT-5)
:The basics are to indent (with colons) one more than the person you're replying to, and to sign at the end with <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>. That automatically adds your username and a timestamp. Check out Wikipedia, they have a TON of wiki-editing help pages.
:I have the same kind of thoughts about the coding, so we'll have to see how those end up, that's not really my forte. With advertising, I'd personally limit it to an image/small ad in a signature or once servers start getting built, we can have a sub-forum specifically for them. In fact, I've added a sub-forum rule set for that [[User:Farlo/Forum Rules/Sub-Forum Rules|here]], we can see how that shapes up. ~[[User:Farlo|Farlo]][[File:User Farlo Triad.png|19px|link=User:Farlo]]<small>[[User talk:Farlo|Talk]]</small> 19:24, 5 October 2011 (CEST)
