interface lost, game closed unexpectedly
when i want to connect to a server on my local machine the game opens then goes black window and crashed with error interface lost, game closed unexpectedly.
here is a log

Use this dll and post the vmp_gui.log and dump file created (crashdump_vmp.dmp)

When i setup the server i ran into the same problem, which is a old Fallout 3 glitch just repackaged as a Multiplayer problem, you have to Disable Desktop composition on the Fallout3.EXE file not just the fallout 3 launcher or Multiplayer client.
Once i did the Error went away.

So far I know this problem get fixed with the d3d9.dll file with VaultMP.
