It depends on various aspects: mainly on my mood and motivation. I can't predict that. It can be 6 to n months.

I'm not sure what you have in mind when talking of 'easier', but I doubt much will happen from my side regarding user experience.

Does it work for Steam, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition?

It does work with Fallout 3: GOTY (UK/US version). I'm not sure about the Steam version. If vaultmp starts up without telling you that your game is incompatible, it should work.

Well, I'm quite sure it does work with the Steam version. I believe some users also have reported that they were using vaultmp with the Fallout 3 Steam version. I only own the retail GOTY version, so I can't guarantee you that.
