I have found a link for people who would like to try battlefield 3 beta, its only 3.8GB size so it isn't the full game, but you can try and see if it works on your computer if you plan to buy the game.THIS IS NOT PIRACY, its from origin game store.

I actually haven't downloaded the game yet, just wanted to share this with you guys.

I downloaded and installed the Beta, and I'm extremely disappointed (although not surprised) with the choices they made. It seems that DICE handed the game development over to the marketing team.

First, I hate EA's forcing of Origin and the Origin app itself for various reasons. Also, the game requires that you install PunkBuster in order to play on official or ranked servers. If you don't know the history of user abuse by PunkBuster, read up on it, it's pretty scary. Finally... their Battelog system is terrible. Using a website for stat tracking and forums and stuff is awesome (like how Killzone 2 did), but actually using it to find games and start up the program is just stupid. But hey, at least it looks beautiful.

Absolutely, and of course I'll give it another shot on release. I know very well that stupid starts can turn around. It's just kind of funny to see thousands of people raging on their forums and cancelling their pre-orders and stuff.
